Worth going if you like old Pune markets, architecture, and street-level history more than museums. Easy paced outdoor walk; places are viewed from outside. Beginner-friendly: just show up on time and spot the red umbrella.
Raviwar Peth Heritage Walk with Pune Heritage Walks (PHW / Deccan Drifts), curated by Randhir Jaya Naidu. As Pune became the de facto capital of the Maratha Empire, traders and craftsmen moved in and new peths were set up by trade; Raviwar Peth grew as a main marketplace from the 1730s. The walk covers Sugandhi Phadke Wada, Sonya Maruti, Melody Makers, Bhori Aali, Someshwar Temple, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, City Jama Masjid, and Saifee Masjid (all from the outside only).
