Cinemas of India is a three-day festival of contemporary Indian cinema by FIPRESCI-India and NFDC, curated by Premendra Mazumdar, with 10 films across languages including Magadhi, Karbi, Rajasthani, Mising, Bengali, Malayalam, Marathi, and Hindi. Friday 21 August: inauguration 10:30 AM; Magazine (Marathi) 11:00 AM; If on a Winter's Night (Malayalam, Hindi) 2:00 PM; Whispers of the Mountains (Rajasthani) 4:00 PM. Saturday 22 August: Feminist Fathima (Malayalam) 11:00 AM; The Lost Path (Karbi) 2:00 PM; Gondhal (Marathi) 4:00 PM. Sunday 23 August: Adamya (Bengali) 11:00 AM; Yakasi's Daughter (Mising) 2:00 PM; Victoria (Malayalam) 4:00 PM; In the Name of Fire (Magahi) 6:00 PM.
